About Maritime Calling
Maritime Calling is a narrative-driven RPG in which you lead a daring expedition into the New World. Survive the life at sea, assign sailors to various jobs, fight naval battles, lead island expeditions and break the Empire’s hold over the New World in an enchanting seafaring adventure.
In-depth ship control – Directly control your ship, including steering, sails, rigging and make sure you avoid shoals or capsize the ship. Life on board of a ship – Manage your crew shifts, plan provisions, repair hull damages and make sure crew spirits are high. Diverse world – Explore the procedurally generated world full of diverse features: islands, reefs, shipwrecks, shoals and stormy regions. Inland expeditions – Gather resources, solve mysteries and interact with suspicious natives in a classic text quest narrative adventure. Develop your ship and crew[WIP] – Research upgrades, level up and specialize your sailors. No second chances! – When you die, there’s no coming back. The constant threat of defeat adds importance and tension to every action.
